As an LPN, you will assist residents as they transition toward a drug-free life.  Your warm personality and ability to help people through challenging situations will assist residents in maintaining sobriety and building abstinence skills, while staying engaged in the local community.

Some Licensed Practical Nurse (evenings and weekends) daily tasks may include:

  • Supervising distribution of medications according to protocol
  • Coordinating services with primary care providers and chemical dependency treatment for residents
  • Developing and documenting service plans
  • Ensuring that a safe dwelling is maintained
  • Assisting residents with case management needs, including but not limited to transportation, linkage to other services and discharge planning

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Valid NYS Educational Department CASAC-T certification  OR valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse 
  • Experience in or knowledge of alcohol/substance abuse delivery system preferred
  • Valid NYS driver license and reliable transportation for required local travel
  • CPR certification within 60 days of employment
  • Must be able to climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
